Default All Calendar Events deleted

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, everyone! I have another crisis, LOL. My BB has deleted everything on my MS Office calendar. The information is still on my BB, but it was deleted from the desktop. It is my fault, because I clicked on the "confirm record deletions" box-- I thought it was just deleting duplicates.

I am not as concerned about what caused this problem as I am with how I can put the information back via the BB. It is already set to "two way sync." Why is the calendar on my BB and not on my desktop, then?

ETA: I am using Desktop Manager 4.5 and OS v.5.0.55

Cool Calendar Sync

BK,

I had the same issue on my and I couldn't figure out why my Blackberry showed all events, and my Outlook only showed past events (everything from present day on was either gone or hidden).

The only way I was able to fix it was to plug it into the desktop manager and set the sync settings to "one way from device" and check the box for delete all other events. This will put everything on your Blackberry back on your desktop Outlook properly.

That worked without incident.

Yes, that is what it does. The Blackberry shows all events, and Outlook only past events.

I tried the syncing one way from device, but it did not work. I don't see a box for deleting all other events. Also, I am very afraid of making this problem worse, as you can imagine!

Do you mean, "Replace all data in the target application"? I am afraid to do that, for obvious reasons.

If I downgrade back to an earlier OS, would this fix the problem?

No reason to fear it. It strickly means it will put your calendar events from your phone on Outlook, and delete the ones that are not listed in your phone, rather then syncing them. Outlook will then be an exact duplicate of your phone.

Worked for me when I had that problem, but its up to you.

Good luck.

I am copying all of my .pst files (which is what I should have done days ago) in case something goes wrong. However, it seems to me that I am risking losing what little data I have left and might not even recover what I lost. Why is it not already copying the data from my phone, for example?

Gkins3, I do not want to seem ungrateful for your help, because I am quite grateful that you have tried to help me. I am just trepidatious.
