Default HELP!! net.rim.blackberry.xml HELP!!

Please Login to Remove!

I have looked and searched on the forums and google and i cant seem to figure out why this has been happening! i keep getting an net.rim.blackberry.xml error after i try and update the OS on my 8100 i have uninstalled and reinstalled the OS file about three times!

this update i am doing is for a friend of mine, when i did the same update about three weeks ago for myself it worked fine, so i am not sure what is going on, the other thing that i did different was i edited the blackberry.alx file a little differnt to unlock the themes but if anyone can help that would be GREAT! thanks!

How about uninstalling desktop manager as well and doing a clean install of everything...
Where did you get the OS...from the sticky on this site?

The application
"Browser" cannot be loaded because it requires the following applications that are
not available: net.rim.blackberry.xml.

you made an error editing your Blackberry.alx file

Everyone is correct. That means that you edited the blackberry.alx incorrectly. Hard to believe you couldn't find anything on the forums about that. It's been asked in almost every OS thread and asked at least a half a dozen times in my "Optimize your BB's Memory" thread.
