There blackberrys are for the corporate users but with nextel anyone can get one. I have several of the sprint features on my 7520 now so i dont know who was telling you all that junk ut they are lieing to you.

Called again just now. Sprint and Nextel networks are now the same (yet) thats why the only way i can buy and use a 7520 is to leave sprint and become a new customer with nextel (regardless of the two sharing the same corporate banner). Thats from a 3rd source, using that 18006396111 #.

I'm starting to hate this. I'm seriously tempted to just pay the fee to break my contract and go elsewhere. The problem is 70% of the ppl i call are on the sprint network (mobile to mobile) and no one else seems to offer unlimited text for $5. *sigh* Frustrating indeed.

They said sprint phones dont work on nextel towers and vice versas. The two sub companies are still very much compartmentalized. One handles the left side and the other the right. They dont share or manage account together (at least not yet).

oh I know the phones wont work on each others networks that I knew. but i cant see having to cancel a contract when it says right on there site you can go from sprint to nextel and vice versus

Yeah, i know its retarded. Their advertising does not reflect reality. But thats not a concern for me any longer because...........

...... Good News! After my 5th phone call in 24 hrs, i was able to order my BB 7250 from Sprint just now (cost me 339 though ) If i was a new customer, it wouldve been 199. Anyway, its coming via 2 day UPS to my office and I am happy as clams. I got to keep my 2000 min plan, my 2nd phone line, my unlimited mobile to mobile and unlimited sms text messaging (for the $5 a month i currently pay). I'm as happy as a pig in mierda!

I dont see anything about a data plan in your list of options you got. what is your data plan like and cost?

I can retire my sidekick II in October. It's been a good device, no real complaints. They also gave me 30 days of free voice command so I guess i will report back on myu own question in a week or so.
