..... is there a difference between a blueberry and a blackberry? I have heard the term blueberry used a lot but am unsure what the hell it is. I hope it isnt a blackberry that is blue in color. Is there a distinction?

No difference at all between BlackBerry and BlueBerry. The term came about after the release of the 62xx/72xx/75xx series of devices as they are a blue-ish/slate colour hence the term BlueBerry. Next up the CrackBerry

I think the difference is pretty obvious

In my company, they often referred to "blueberry" as the International capable one and the "blackberry" as the domestic one. Now that we also use Cingular, their 7250's are black as well, etc.

At our company, users who have the 7510 have the blueberry and those who have the 7520 have the blackberry (and asre also luckier)

The BlackBerry is an official branding name that RIM uses for their wireless handheld devices.

The BlueBerry is something that BlackBerry users came up with probably because of the "Blue" color of some of the handhelds.

My BlackBerry is blue in color, however it has a stamp on it that says "BlackBerry".

The CrackBerry on the other hand is a term that was created for BlackBerry users that are addicted to their devices and can not live without them.

Cingular doesn't have 7250s, that's the CDMA version that Verizon and Sprint use. I assume you meant 7290.

I wonder what I should call my steel-blue BlackBerry (T-Mobile 7290).

The blueberry is a fruit.

All of the handheld devices from RIM are BlackBerrys, regardless of the color of the case. I've even seen red ones, but they are not strawberrys.

There are red blackberries? This must be some kind of aftermarket case, right?

I saw one at last years WES. I've forgotten the story. It was a custom case done by RIM or Rogers (probably Rogers) for a big customer.

I want a Titanium-Berry that doubles as a weapon, for us "urban professionals" that may have cause to smack the everlivin' begeeezus outta some would-be mugger.

Can anyone tell me how many phone numbers, email addresses and street address are you allowed per contact in a BB? 3? 5? 6?

In some cases I have over 5 numbers/emails per individual. Outlook cuts me off at 3 but my Sidekick II allows up to 5 per person. I'm just trying to see if i will have some of my contacts cut off by the BB or will i be able to accomodate my needs.

Dawg, i've sent u a few AIM messages and a PM here, have you gotten any of them?
