After a week of syncing perfectly, the DM 4.3 is giving me an error message whenever it tries to sync with my BB; either "operation terminated unexpectedly" or simply "error." I have Windows XP and Office 2007 and the world edition BB. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, and turning the BB on and off; no dice.

At what point to you get the error? During calendar synch, note synch, address book?

When it starts to sync, either with the address book or, sometimes, not until the calendar.

It's usually an entry. Can you try it again and see if it dies at the same point each time? If so we can clear that database on the device and resend the whole thing from Outlook.

Also, there is a sync log, you can look at normally see specifically where the error is...

Here's what i did and it seemed to work. Thanks so much for pointing me to the right place!



Locate the Intellisync folder on your computer. This folder can be found at C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\. If you can't find the Application Data folder, see note below.

3. Rename the Intellisync folder (e.g., Intellisync_old).

Had the same problem, renamed the folder and set up the items to be sync-ed, and it worked like a charm.
