Yes, sync them with your Outlook client.

Otherwise, perform a full backup, which will also capture contacts. Then you may selectively restore only contacts at a later time if you wish.

On the DM go to Backup/Restore, click on advance on the device database look for the contacts, then click on the left arrow. Click on file and select save. That will make the trick
