I don't know where you are having issues with the install or to what extent that you've been helped. You must realize that the mods on this site volunteer their time and knowledge to help others. Also there are thousands of others here asking questions to the handful of Mods on the site. Patience is your friend.

To try to assist you. It appears that you've downloaded and I assume installed desktop Manager (DM). You will also need to download and install the OS for your device which can be found here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html

There are steps in that link that you need to follow. make sure you remove the vendor.xml file.

To recap, you need to download and install BOTH the Desktop Manager and the device OS before you can begin to upgrade your device.

Guess you can help everyone even if you did the work your self been trying to help speedjunkyz.info in private and now im getting this,

I'm sure he'll not sleep trying to upgrade the os before he has to go to the local Radio Shack to buy bb because he got fed up with it and demolished after repeated failed attempts to up grade ..... oh well at least Radio Shack will make money LOL

I think speedjunkyz needs to learn to help himself. Some people just want to be spoonfed without making any effort themselves. He *was* given the correct instructions, he just needs to make an effort to follow them. But then some people are beyond help... nothing we can do about that.
