Default Question About Downloading Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

I've ordered my BB Curve 8310 from the ATT website. I've upgraded from first gen. iPhone. Anyway, I wanted to get a head start on downloading the Desktop Manager. While in the process of downloading it, it gave me the option to (can't remember now the correct wording) to get my email from my workplace or get a BB email. Hope you know what I mean. Anyway, which one should I choose? I just want to get push email from my yahoo email. Actually, my 2 yahoo email accounts.

Also, I chose to download the media manager along with the desktop. Is that what I want?

Thanks,

I believe you want the lower option (the one that doesn't use an Enterprise Server).

I don't believe there's a separate DM install for BIS and BES. Verizon does the same when downloading, it has a link for BIS and BES users which takes you to the same download links. I believe the BES link brings up a screen informing the user that they may want to contact their BES admin for regarding installing DM.

When you go through the DM install, it will ask you if you're connecting through a BES server or using BIS. If you're not on a BES, choose the BIS options during the install.

I download my DM installs right from the Blackberry website where there are no BIS and BES specific links. They also have a more updated versions of the software.

I probably didn't explain myself very well. I have a habit of doing that.

I kept the top one clicked. I want to be able to push my personal yahoo email, 2 accounts, to my BB. Not using the BB for work. Did I click the correct one?
