Unfortunatly, posting a link like that violates the EULA you agreed to when you downloaded the OS. And because of that we can't leave the link. Appreciate, the thought, though.

My verizon theme was still there. You should recheck all your settings after you upgrade, tho mine didn't seem to change this time. I was careful to delete the extracted "vendor.xml" file before installing through the Desktop Manager. Only the Verizon themes were present.
FYI, I read that Verizon promises to release OS4.5 within the next two weeks.

Not to doubt you, but were did you hear that? I am really aching to give 4.5 a run threw so I could probably hold off on installing a beta for another 2 weeks.

.77 is an excellent version. I have your setup and have had absolutely no issues. Only improvements.

Agreed. I have been running .77 on a VZW 8330 for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any problems thus far (except that I crashed my BB by watching too many You Tube videos...).

I'm running 77 on a Sprint 8330 and it hasn't been very stable. I only have gmail loaded as a 3rd party app.
Scrolling is slow, kind of like a bit of lag in the trackball. Lag gets really bad when you take a picture and try to send it via Blackberry Messenger and scroll through the list of names to select a recipient.
After I unplug from having the phone tethered, I often have a hard time getting email to send on my email. It's almost like my data connection is inactive.
Sounds like most other people are loving 4.5 so I am assuming these issues are only local to my device. Perhaps I'll wipe and set it up again and run it a few more days.

On my last 8330 I upgraded to the 4.5 and it was a nightmare of problems. I have to say that the 4.5 was just hitting the streets when I did this, so I don't know how much extermination has been done since then, and so I am asking that question here today. One of my major problems was with the email, which was horrible with that HTML reader that came with it. I am currently using empower with my 4.3 system, can this also be my default email viewer in 4.5, or do I have to take that horrible reader they give you?
Thank You,
Androdamas

Thank you. I will keep my fingers crossed and just wait for the VZW release of 4.5 then.

I avoided the first couple of beta 4.5 OS versions because many people had reported problems. I started with 4.5.0.56 because it was an official release, and I wasn't disappointed. Since then I have gone to .66, and now I'm using .77, all on my Alltel 8330. I haven't had any issues with them, only improvements along the way.
I suggest that you find a copy of 4.5.0.66 or .77 and try it out again. If it doesn't work out then you can always go back to your previous OS.
Also, I'm still using Empower, even though the native email viewer is vastly improved over the 4.3 and the earlier 4.5 versions, and it really is quite usable. Empower has a couple of nice features that I like, and I did pay for it after all.

No, you can still use empower. I still use empower myself. You just have to re-download the 4.5 version. It'll be free if you paid for it before. Just visit the site on your BB browser and download it.
If your really having all those issues, try a wipe and install .77 off the bat. I honestly think it may have been just an issue with your device because .77 has been great for just about everyone I spoke with.

Is anyone experiencing battery issues with .77? I don't know if its just me but my battery has gone down almost 50% already since this morning. When I had .56 installed I can go the whole day into the next day and the battery level would still almost be full.

I haven't really noticed any trouble. Can you give me a site that you've had trouble with in the past, on previous BB Browsers?
