I am using bb maps ,seems to work fine.I read people having trouble with google maps running on bold .I am wondering what the fuss is all about regarding google maps over the bb maps that came with the bold ?.As of today has there been any upgrades to google maps ,so that it runs better on the bold

I think Google Maps runs fine on the bold. You just need the direct download for it.

I agree with John. I really didn't use BB Maps but the thread got me to checking it out today. After messing with it, I prefer Google Maps as well.

i too prefer google maps....however

it would be better if you could save a searched address/info to contacts and if you could send it right from the app.

thanks for the replys ,I will try google .my short experiance with bb maps ,is okay I know my city quite well so I enter an address and then use pan mode and wow there is a major street or road and I know were to go .
