I don't have this working yet but know i'm close. my question is, is there a way to force set a location profile if someone logs on to the client from their BB?
Part of using this is we like knowing when people are at their desks and kind of defeats "presence" if they can constantly be signed into their BB. If location says "mobile" or something it could resolve that issue. But relying on users to manually set it is pointless.
I don't know if that's possible on the BES, but in the OCS mmc, you can run per user reports to see the client end point version. Since the BES uses CWA then the connection would appear from:
that's good to know but I need it as the location so other users logged into communicator can see if a user is signed in from their desk or from their blackberry (or just remote OCWA).
