Default Power cut during upgrading 7130g firmware, BB died forever

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

When I was upgrading the OS, the power was off. I damaged my BB forever. I tried many ways posted in many forums (both English and Vietnamese) but it did not work.

RIM softwares (Desktop Manager, JavaLoader) could not connect the device and reload the OS. I guessed the flash memory was not formatted incorrectly or demaged when the power off.

In the nutshell, my BB status as following:

_ Desktop Manager: it detected the blackberry as usb-pin:unknow and do the trick (you know, click Next immediately when 'usb-pin:unknown' just appeared) but it did not work.
_ JavaLoader: it said that 'unable to connect port' instead that I created a .bat file and forced it run 30,000times.

If anyone knows any tool can low-level access the BlackBerry or BlackBerry's flash memory so that I can format or do anything to reload the OS), please share with me. I very very appreciate it.

Best regards,
Bach Tran

Nobody can help me? I live in Vietnam, it's difficult to get the blackberry-skilled technician to repair my BB. Any suggestion will highly be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you run loader.exe with the /nojvm parameter, e.g. loader.exe /nojvm? This should allow you to fix your issue and reload the firmware onto your device.

Thanks, acnst. I tried it, did not work. I am thinking about disassembly and reassembly the device.
