Murdered out Blackberry would be sweet with the black keypad from the red ones. How come they keys look like they are lit blue? Did you do that as well?

I used the Krylon Fusion to paint my curve black as well. I used it previously and found that the glossy really isnt that glossy. So I used the flat black (satin) and then used the krylong clear coat. I used two coats of black and three clear coats. It took about a week to fully cure, but it looks great! I will post pics later tonight if I have the time. I also ordered the black lens and the black keyboard to get as much black as possible.

Currently though Im using my Red/Crimson housing.

Mine is an 8310 from AT&T and it looks white as well. I guess if you are taking it apart to paint it then it shouldn't be that hard to change the color of the keys the same way people do the trackball.

True, I always wanted my keypad to be blue, but I would be way in over my head to take my phone apart that much to change that...

You should give it a shot (not responsible for damange ). Its only two torx5 screws and the lens comes right off along with the keypad.

I dare say you are talented. The flat black is cool, but the glossy is really nice and showcases your abilities. You must be sanding very smoothly, and then applying the paint in perfect strokes as you spray.

Well-done!
