I upgraded my OS a couple of days ago and now i can use MMS witch is awesome. that was the one thing that irritated me about my phone and carrier.

as for the MMS option on my phone it works just fine without any problems. im able to send and receive them from multiple carriers.

one question though. my girlfriend has the 8130 on sprint and i was going to upgrade her OS. will she be able to send MMS as well once i do?

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

No. Sprint doesn't support MMS on the BB.

Default Upgraded Bell Mobility BB okay!

I just finished my upgrade, and all looks well. I lost all my Agendus data however... . Not a huge deal, it was new and I needed to do new entries anyway...

Question US Cellular 8130 4.5.0.66 Brower Issue/Icon issue

I upgrade a few weeks back from the US Cellular website. Everything seems to work great except I have one issue. I can't use certain website icons anymore. Crackberryappstore, berryreview and the weather channel. I also seem to have issues with typing in a website. I can go to google and search for a site, then click the link and I can then save as a bookmark, problem solved. Has anyone else ran into this?? I've been searching here and pinstack and haven't found any answers. Any Ideas??

Default Now images won't download in e-mail

I just upgraded from .77 , where I was getting most images in my html email with no problem.

Now, in .89, none of them load, even when I go to "get images." I've resent the service books twice, and still no change

Using a VZW 8130.

Anyone else having this issue, or, in the alternative, know of a way I can fix it!? Thanks

Nope - .89 worked as well for me as .77 did for getting images.

You've done a battery pull? You've checked your email settings to confirm that HTML email is enabled?

Battery pull, settings are set for HTML, everything. It's really annoying.

How did you resend your service books? via the blackberry or via the VZW BIS website? The best option would be to send via the BIS website. I am on verizon w/ an 8130 also, & html mail has worked for me in .77, .89 & .97.

I thought I had done it from the BIS website, but I've just done it again to make sure. I guess I will see what happens the next time I get an e-mail with images. I don't want to downgrade to .77 because I want to get a 16 gb micro SD card.

Just send yourself an HTML email. THat's what I did when I was testing.

I believe I've been hearing that folks are able to use 16 GB cards on .77, BTW.

Since my upgrade I can't send myself links. It won't allow me to open them. I always get an error.

Have you tried deleting and recreating the account again in BIS?

I'm on Sprint and feel like waiting for them to actually release thier 4.5 will be pointless. So if I upgrade via this method will there be any issues when/if they release their version? Like if they add a new feature or some exclusive application; will I have to downgrade and update again or just redownload their version...or hell is it just not something I need to worry about?

It's just not something you need to worry about. If they come out with a newer version, just upgrade. If they come out with an older version then stick with this newer version and you still win.

I haven't. It's just Gmail, I'll see if that does anything.

The HTML e-mails arrive, it's just none of the damn images come down! Ugh!

So I updated my OS and everything seemed to go smooth except for some reason my icons for myspace and facebook have dissapered. I thought maybe it just didn't reload them at the end but the phone says they are still installed under applications but no icons. Anyway to get the icons back or do I need to reinstall them?

Also under status my memory stats shows how much I have left but not the total amount of memory.

Edit: I just went ahead and reinstalled the two apps since its not that hard...werid though
The memory stats still bothers me

I have seen two different OS versions recommended for Sprint, the 4.5.0.101 and the version above. Anyone know the pros/cons?
