Default Memory Card- All the sudden it's gone?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 2GB memory card that's been working fine for months, and after I woke up this morning and did a battery pull to wipe away a sticking BBM notification, the card can no longer be read.

I searched around a bit but didn't see anything that would help. I'm on a mac if any help revolves around plugging into the computer..

Thanks guys..

David

David, have you tried a simple removal of the Media Card and reinserting it, reboot?

Yes, I've tried..

- a battery pull with the device on
- a proper shut down and restart
- removing the card, reinserting and powering on
- removing the card, powering on, shutting down, reinserting and powering on

Still no sign of it :(

Can you enable Mass Storage on it and view from the Mac?

Could be a bad memory card. See if you've got another one laying around that you could try. If not, maybe you could buy one from a store with a good return policy, pop it in, see if it works and if so, keep it. If not, return it.

Mass Storage Support: On
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Yes
Media card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is formatted.

The phone appears connected, but I'm not seeing any options in PocketMac for the memory card.

misterb-- can memory cards go bad suddenly? this one has been working for months with no issue.

Anything can go bad. It's unlikely for memory cards to go bad, but it isn't impossible. Sounds like you've tried everything else.
