No info found on that battery at :::::: MUGEN POWER BATTERIES :::::: More POWER More ENERGY :::::: PDA BATTERIES :::::: EXTENDED BATTERIES :::::: SMARTPHONE BATTERIES ::::::.

Where did you find it? Do they have other sizes?

Holy mother of god that's a bit thick! Haha

I nearly actually guffawed out loud there... What companies SHOULD be making is more powerful batteries but with the same size as the OE one - now THERE'S a challenge

Although the Seidio battery is the only said option available, a 9% increase doesn't impulse me to go buy one...

LiIon - really? No wonder it's so chunky!

The Bold's battery is Lithium Polymer - much higher energy density.

Also, LiIon batteries stop working around freezing - LiPo are still good at moderately cold temperatures (maybe -10C depending on the chemistry).

So what's next - a strap-on gas generator?

Maybe we'll go back to that 1980's "lunch box" style thing that you have to carry around with you. There will be a nice coiled cord that connects to the back of your Bold from the box. And it will include a comfortable shoulder strap for "all-day portability" ;)

It reminds my of my old hp jornada with the sleeve for the PC card. That was probably the biggest PDA I used.

My advice, stick with seidio or someone with a reputation. Get the Mugen battery and the joints dont pickup, the battery might not work any better than a standard.

oh yea liIon wouldnt work very well for me, because i always bring my phone with me snowmobling. LiPoly works the best in cold weather, just hope they bring up something smilar to OEM size soon. I think im gonna wait out until better accessories come out for the bold before i buy it.

I don't need any extended battery. Since I loaded OS .190, the battery life of my Bold has been increased to Double.

I mean 2+ days. Before that I have to charge it daily.

Why don't you guys try the new OS.

They're inquiring about an even bigger one that'll require a different cover, but it can't be as big as "the doorstop" shown here. Hehehe I had one of those early "bagphones" that came in a briefcase. It was my first cellphone, mainly for using in a car. Hilarious! I don't think I ever charged the battery before I got rid of it.
