The Storm is only available on Verizon in the US. There is no GSM version yet. Maybe later?

I would be cautious about that. First I don't know if CDMA devices can be unlocked . . . and even if they can they won't work on Rogers which is GSM

That is incorrect. There is a 9500 GSM version that is being offered by Vodafone. You can also get an unlocked 9500 GSM version from HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ß

i just read this on CB...

Call Verizon, ask for blackberry global support, tell them you need the the unlock code to use a european sim, they will give it to you, leave the verizon sim in
Turn on the phone and go to Settings Menu, Options, Advanced Options and then SIM Card. Type in “MEPD” using the keyboard. Type in “MEP” and then another screen pops up for the code, put the code in, you have 10 chances to get it right, dont screw it up press enter and the phone should now be unlocked. Pop ATT sim in and manage connections to gsm and there you go, I did a test call and it works great, check my voice mail and after I was done I got the prepaid prompt with my current balance from att

Um.. Don't mean to be thread crapping here but shouldn't this be in the Buy/Sell Area of the forum?
