...I have a new 8310 and I was wondering how I can alter the incoming message alert to vibrate and ring at the same time. I can get it to vibrate only, ring only or vibrate and then ring but I can't get it to both at the same time.

Any ideas?

It's a common question, but I've not seen that it is possible. Only vibrate-then-ring.

But there is an application called "VibandRing" that will do it for you. Search our Aftermarket section for it.

Go in the Profiles menu (megaphone icon) and choose Advanced. After, choose the profile you want to modify, click on it and click Edit. Then click on Phone and then Edit and there you can choose Vibrate+Tone for the Out of Holster and in Holster.

What you have suggested gives you Vibrate, THEN RING.

It does not Vibrate and Ring at the same time, which is what joncrawf asked for.

Sorry, yes you are right. But I know it worked on some of the older models.

No, it didn't.
No BlackBerry has ever had simultaneous vibrate+ring.
