I am sure .76 is better than .75 or it wouldn't exist. I am likewise sure that .77 will be better than .76. So at the risk of being intuitively obvious maybe everybody can calm down and wait to see what VZ releases this week.

Also, doesn't sound like .76 will be what is released based on some of the bugs he found.

Ok - I contacted my personal VZW insider about the OS updated, and here is his response:
"I do have access to it, but it is only for BES servers at the current time, so would not be of any benefit to you unless your employer is running a BES server. The ETA for the new consumer version is unknown at this time, but expected within the coming week or two. You should receive notification on your device via text message from Verizon Wireless when it is available. Thanks"
