I would imagine that is due to the fact that T-mobile doesn't have the service books for this device.

You may want to go into options > advanced options > host routing table > menu key > register now. I don't think this will work, but it is worth a shot.

That will normally push the browser to the device if it is missing as well.

I am not sure what this forum's policy is on posting links to other forums, better safe than sorry.

For an unlock code I think you are going to have keep calling VZW to get it. I am not sure I would trust eBay for CDMA devices unlock codes.

You know, I may just be a jerk. But I would think since you took it off verizon's network to put it on tmobile. A lot of things are not going to work correctly, however, maybe you should call tmobile or go into a store and ask them why a verizon phone doesn't work on Tmobile. I mean, verizon is known for locking down phones. So the fact that your not getting the service books and unable to change the voicemail number doesn't supprise me one bit.

Best of luck to you.

First, VZW does not own the phone the customer who paid for it does. The owner is free to do whatever they see fit with their phone. Use it on VZW, TMO, ATT or use it as a paper weight.
Second, I used the phone for ONE day on VZW network then got it unlocked and have been on TMO since then. EVERYTHING work for me, browser, sms, mms, BIS, EVERYTHING. This forum is for people to help each other, and that it what the OP is asking, a little help since we know it works.

Most forums frown on posting links to other forums but you can copy/paste the words in the post without posting an actual link. I do that all the time.

I don't know what to tell you, I was able to change it there, also when I had the VZW number there rebooted the phone the the mobile network option set to 3g only VM# reverted to TMO's number.
