Default Wireless Upgrade to device of .75 ready now!

Please Login to Remove!

Been checking off and on all day.

Wireless upgrade... downloading now.

More to come.

Once it downloads it asks if you want to upgrade now or schedule the upgrade. Warns that you won't be able to make a call or use the Storm for up to 2 hours.

Took approx. 20 mins. Going to bed. Will test tomw.

Is it pretty quick updating directly rather than using DM?

IF the xxx8220;Wireless Upgradexxx8221; option does not show in Options || Advanced Options at the very bottom then you should return to the Options-Advanced-Service Book screen and highlight the xxx8220;Provisioning [OTASL]xxx8221; service book entry, press the Menu key, and select Delete. Then press the Menu key, and select Undelete.

Now the xxx8220;Wireless Upgradexxx8221; option should properly appear. You may have to do steps more than once for it to work (I had to do it 2x until it showed up)

If you are not seeing the update available when you check for upgrades, do a battery pull. You should see it available in options-> advanced options wireless upgrade. Mine didnt appear until i rebooted

I've noticed two things:

1) Faster change from horizontal to vertical and vice versa.

2) Longer battery life. Was only down halfway yesterday as opposed to all the way after a day's use. Although I was busy and wasn't playing around as much. So we'll see.

Since I am still getting the 'No Updates' available when I try the OTA upgrade, if I install Desktop Manager and hook this thing up, will it do anything to my existing BES service?

I just want to be sure I dont hose something up.

Thanks.

-Response time between portrait and landscape has increased greatly. Also over all running smoothness.
- Battery life is almost 50% better than from before.

I have a brand new > 4 days old storm so didn't really experiment with the infamous "card trick" but I havent had ant issues with my keyboard....

I downlaoded .75 and whe I tried to install it it gave me an error message that aid not enough memory available. I did a soft reboot by removing batttery and the download then worked.

Those are the two things I had noticed, as I had posted.

I found a something that changed for negative this morning:

When I touch but don't press on a message, it no longer filters the messages by that recipient. I have to go to MENU, SEARCH SENDER to do the same thing. What happened to that feature in the upgrade?
