Wouldn't all of the Verizon BlackBerry data plans be the same price, with the only difference being BIS vs. BES plan.....?
Oh, I'm in Michigan. It's snowing here.

Verizon has 3 different BlackBerry plans.
1) POP/IMAP personal accounts. No Business POP/IMAP accounts. ~$30
2) Personal and Business POP/IMAP accounts. ~$45
3) Personal and Business POP/IMAP accounts + BES accounts. ~$65

$45 one covers both BIS and BES. Not sure what $65 does, data for laptop is $15 extra.

I have been looking at verizonwireless.com under plans and I am confused. I am used to T-Mo with a 20 bucks unlimited data plan. I am aware that it would be more expensive with verizon but what would be the equivalent plan and how much?

Or you can save few bucks and get pkg deal 450min + BIS/BES = $79.99, minus discount from work if you can get any.

Our plan is [voice plan] + $29.99 (unlimited data/10 POP accts) + $20 (BES)
Then I have to pay *ANOTHER* $20 to use my [large] company's third-party BES server.
So basically it's $69.99 above a voice plan for me...

Huh? Data for a laptop is $15? I thought they bumped teathering up to $30. I left the states for two months and dropped my teathering while I was gone... when I came home I went in to a vzw store to add it back and they said it was $30!! I was sooo pissed. I haven't checked the website in a while though...

VZ sure makes things complicated. I'm interested in getting the Storm and while researching the plans, I too had this question.
Here is what the current website shows as the available options once a Basic calling plan has been selected:
BlackBerry Email
Blackberry® Solution Unlimited Data Usage Your Price: $44.99/month
Email and Web for BlackBerry® Your Price: $29.99/month
I figured that the $29 plan is similar to the one I have in T-Mobile but nowhere in the website or product details does it say that "Email and Web for BB" has unlimited data. Bu can anyone confirm this?

Per my Verizon rep, it's $15/month extra for BlackBerry tethering so long as you subscribe to a $45/month data plan (or higher). He's supposed to check that and get back with me tomorrow to be sure, but it sounds about right to me.
UPDATE:
I was told that it's $15/month for tethering if you're on the $45/month BlackBerry data plan -or- $30/month for tethering if you're on the $30/month BlackBerry data plan.
I'm new to Verizon and haven't done all my homework yet. I'm not sure of the differences between the data plans. Either way it sounds like it's going to be about 60 bones per month for unlimited mobile broadband.

The 29.99 plan from Verizon is unlimited BIS equivalent to T-Mobile's 19.99 plan, or so it is my understanding.

$29.99 for unlimited BIS (10 POP accounts I believe).
BES is additional $20.
Corporate/organization discounts apply.

"Messaging" is one fee (SMS, picture, and video). Used to be different but now it's all-inclusive.
Depending on your plan, you can get "IN messages" (unlimited to/from Verizon) or not.
My phone (plan) has 250 messages (no free IN) for $5/month.
My wife gets 500 messages (*with* free/unlimited IN) for $10/month.
So it really depends when your plan was originated. Some Verizon dude on the phone was reading a whole paragraph about how we had to change plans, or we'd risk being billed for data at such-and-such per megabyte (tip: "hey VZW moron, we have unlimited data w/ BB data plan" - which I repeated three times). The rub with that is that FamilyShare plans then also switch to the new plan, which would expose us ($$$-wise) should I have "accidentally" used the browser on my RAZR.
