Default Migrate users from BPS to BES

Please Login to Remove!

I have recently just gotten a full BES server up and running with 20 users. We also have a BPS server with 5 users running. Since running the BPS and BES is a pain for management, is it possible to migrate the users from BPS to BES without the need to run Enterprise Activation again?

*I am ordering 5 BES licenses as the current licenses will not transfer.

You can only achieve this if both BES are sharing a database. That is the only way. If not they have to wipe and reactivate.

Would he be able to use the "Import Users From Legacy Server" option in this case? I used it when I went from 2.2 to 4.1.4. It worked well.

I don't believe so because he won't be moving users from a legacy server. Besides, when going from one BES to another with different DB's the policy is different along with it's hash key. That is the reason why the users have to wipe their devices, so the activation does not fail.
