Currently I am using the Moto Q9C, but I have been playing around more and more with my works blackberry, its mainly an on call phone so has no web. What I am wondering how are the web speeds on this phone? I assume it runs at the Evdo speeds Sprint offers, but I just want to make sure.

Another thing I been reading about is the radio turning off when it gets semi-low on battery power... How low does it have to get for that to happen?

Thanks for the info.

I have a Sprint 8330 and love it. I've upgraded to one of the other carriers 4.5 OSes and the radio doesn't shut off now until the whole phone dies. If I recall it shut off after the Battery level icon turned orange (warning) so probably at 20% left on the battery with OS 4.3.

The speeds are pretty good, faster than edge, providing you are in an EVDO coverage area, otherwise its about the speed of EDGE. It's an awesome device, by far the best cell phones I have ever had. I've had 3 different models of curves and they were all exceptional.

Hope this helps.

My personal experience with OS 4.5 with my Berry is when the battery icon goes red (I am assuming this indicates 10% or less life) then the radio automatically shuts off. Of course the battery life was extended due to OS 4.5 being more energy efficient, so this only happened to me once.

I don't use the radio too much, and my battery rarely gets to 1/2 power. For internet, so long as you are in a sprint service area, it's pretty fast, nearly as fast as my broadband connection. Roaming internet speed is pretty good too.

Yeah Google will load on my blackberry pretty much by the time I press the enter button.

For my Sprint BB, the radio will turn off when it's at "0%" I immediately put the phone on the charger and I couldn't get the radio turned on for a few minutes after that.

The internet is very fast but if you mistype a site without knowing it, it'll take like 5 minutes before it gives you an error message of some sort lol.

Battery life is good. Easily lasts a day if you're on it all the time. Even going easy on it, it won't make it 2 for me. I've had mine unplugged since about 12 this morning and I've sent probably 50 or so texts, been on the phone for prolly 15 minutes but also been on BB Messenger for the majority of the day.

I just switched from the ATT Pearl 8110 to the Sprint 8330 and oh my 3G CDMA is bangin! It really does go at sprintspeed. I did a test with my laptop connected via bluetooth on www speedtest net and got something like 350Kbps which I think is amazing for a cell phone
