From what i heard from insiders, there isn't any plans for Storm 2 for Verizon in 2009, you'll have to wait until 2010. However, Verizon recently said LTE would roll out earlier than 2010 so things might change. Verizon is getting the Bold(Niagara) and the Pearl Flip 8230(Apex) in the next few months.

I have heard of the Magnum coming out to GSM cariers sometime next year. It is supposedly a Bold/Curve/Storm hybrid with a touchscreen.

I have heard about the early LTE release as well probably finished by mid 2010 so a Storm2 would be the perfect first LTE model in my opinion!

I'm just curious if the DTV transition moving from Feb to June would delay the LTE for Verizon or not. Only time will tell.

Because Verizon is deploying LTE in the 700 MHz spectrum currently occupied by analog TV.
