I just replaced my Storm yesterday and today went to sync it on the PC at my studio. I had already done a restore from DM (from the day before's backup) so all my data was there. I wanted to sync because we had added new appointments to the Outlook Calendar (Outlook 2003 on XP Pro) earlier today. The problem is that after setting up my sync config (new device wiped out old sync settings), none of the new appointments would sync. I set up the config parms just like they were for the old device...sync both ways (device to Outlook, Outlook to device) with conflict resolution set to Outlook wins. It did sync the few new Contacts that had been added to Outlook, only ignored the Calendar appointments. Any one know what I might want to try?

I've seen this problem when appointments were added between the time that the device was backed up and the initial time of new device in-service (or more often in my case - complete wipe and restore). It's kind of a grey area or "dead zone" time.

Can you (or a colleague if you use Exchange) try adding a single new appointment and then syncing?

Note: I have BES so I'm not 100% certain about the Outlook <> BB direct sync of appointments, but have had the issue with "over the air" sync.
