Default Storm and copies of sent gmail in inbox

Please Login to Remove!

I know that this has been discussed before. When I had my 8830 I was able to set a filter on the Verizon BIS website. It worked as expected so I did not receive copies of sent gmail on my Blackberry. Now that
i have my storm, that filter does not work anymore. I have deleted my gmail filter and recreated it on the BIS website to no avail. Is there a setting that I am missing?

I have read that thread and the changes I made worked well with my 8830. My problem is that on my storm I still receive the email. Strange, I know... Do you have any other ideas as to what might be wrong?

No, I don't, as the directions worked fine for me on my Storm

Did you try re-sending your service books? As well as a battery pull on the device?

If you are using BIS then it should be the same as your Storm. What message are you getting on your Storm, a bunch of letters and numbers or just the email you sent from your Storm...

How do you find out your account info. in log into BIS if you activated your gmail account via the phone and not BIS?

Default I think I found a solution

I had always created my gmail filter on the Verizon BIS site while at home on my home computer. The filter worked with my 8830 but not with the Storm for whatever reason. However, today I realized that I could set up email filters on the Storm itself. I set up the gmail filter and now I no longer receive copies of sent gmail on the Storm.
