Hi everyone. Am hoping to draw on the group's collective expertise to solve a strange problem. I updated the OS yesterday from .190 to .216. All went well. Today, I was scrolling through some photos - all my photos are saved on my SD card. When I clicked on any photo to enlarge it, I got a pop-up box saying "This beta has expired". The only option it gave me was to click on "OK" and then it would return to the main photo menu. Wtf??? And this was for ALL the photos. I can still see the thumbnails, just can't enlarge them.

I thought that maybe the update of the OS was screwed up, so I re-downloaded the .216 OS. Went thru all the usual steps following the download - battery pull, etc. Same deal!

I've downloaded all the official OS's in the past, never had a problem. Btw, all my music and video files continue to play perfectly. It's just the photos that are messed up.

So, does anyone have any suggestions for fixing the problem? Or will I have to downgrade back to .190? I'd prefer not to, but I'd also like to see my own photos on the Bold, so I'll do it if there's no other options. Any suggestions are most appreciated!

mine said the same the other day...
the problem was a beta version of beam reader which was expired. I deleted the expired version of beam reader and no problems ever since.
could that be the way to fix your problem?

Katharina, you rock! I did have Beam Reader and didn't realize it had expired as I haven't used it in a while. I deleted it and now the pics load perfectly. Thanks so much for your help!
