How are you guys Organizing your home screen vs other folders like apps, instant messaging, sounds etc.

I know I can move stuff around, but has anyone figured out a good way to keep it so things are not just thrown everywhere.

What are your apps that you use all the time (what do you keep on your home screen)

Since the phone has so much more memory, I can see myself downloading programs, and really not knowing where to throw them.

You can make custom folders to help you keep everything organized.. Everyone has different tastes, so custom named folders that you create might work best for you...

As for me, I keep all my applications that get used on the main screens (shown) and hide all the folders and unused applications..

There actually a lot of available system memory to download programs to. It's important to discern between the system memory, and what's used as storage. It seems like you should have a lot of internal memory, but that memory is partitioned and the system is only given a small amount that it addresses and installs programs to. After a clean install I think most users only have about 35-40 meg left for 3rd party apps and RAM type access. This is based on my experience, and I could be wrong.

I created several folders:
ADMIN: manage connections, options, help, etc
NEWS: Foxnews, CNN, IDrudge
MAPS: BB Maps, Google Maps, VZN
SPORTS: MLB.com, NFL.com, etc
LAUNCHERS: for misc web site launcers
APPLICATIONS: I obviously kept the apps there, ie, Docs To Go, FB. Until I need to reorganize that.

You can change the folder colors. I made the Admin folder with the BB symbol.

I'm a minimalist. Keep things as streamlined as possible.
