Default Slow to send texts?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm finding that it's taking 2-3 seconds once i click "Send" to respond and actually send the message. On one occasion the reply came back before the email showed as sent in the inbox. I restored emails, texts and MMS from my Bold to my new handset when I got it. Could that be causing problems?

Yes, i've done it a couple of times. I've deleted all the messages, texts and SMS now so hopefully it will speed things up.

Think that is some bug in your 8900. I don't have that problem actually...

remember SMS is not instant... it may take a while for them to send depending on network traffic... just like making a phone call, it can take a few seconds to connect to the network then make the call...

Cory's right, problems sending/receiving SMS/MMS are almost always due to the network not the device. If the device has the service books to do it then failures/delays are within the network as a rule. If you don't beleive it use BB Messenger and see what happens with that.
