If I press in the middle of the screen, it clicks nicely. However, when I press the bottom row of soft buttons in the message screen, say for example the compose button, there is hardly any feedback. Wondering if I have a bad unit.

Usually in this case it is best to exchange I hate to say. There is one trick I will find you a link to.

My original unit did the same thing. Got a replacement unit and it is much better. Same feel on entire screen. Get a replacement.

What about the whole turning the screws in the back trick...did u try that...maybe that might fix it...it did for me..
