Hello,

Is there any way to get your Blackberry to alert you each time you have a new Gmail email come in ? I just recently purchased a new 7510 and love it, but miss not being able to check my gmail acct or know when new emails come in. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Shundy

Not at the moment. I've seen some window tray apps that notify you when you get new gmail. I suppose one of them could be easily modified to shoot an SMS or something when you have a new one.

does this software have to be loaded onto my BB or onto my laptop or the server? if server, then which specific server does it have to get onto?

You need to load the software onto a webserver -- doesn't matter where, as long as you know how to access it.

So if youyr domain is domain.com and you create a folder domain.com/gmail and upload the 'software' there, you would access you GMail on your BB via the browser and the URL: domain.com/gmail

Default Gmail now has mail forwarding

Great news. No longer any need to use third party workarounds. Gmail just started email forwarding. Just go to the settings tab on your Gmail page.

Yea, this is true but you get the spam and everything. Not a good idea to those who hate spam; hmm, so who loves spam

I am trying to get the gmail-mobile setup and i am getting a
HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error

My config loks like below.
Code:
<?php

   require_oncexxx40;"libgmailer.php"xxx41;;

   /** Session handling method. You must at least choose xxx40;uncommentxxx41; one. **/

   /**** have PHP Session installed, prefer to use cookie to store session **/
   //$config_session = xxx40;GM_USE_PHPSESSION | GM_USE_COOKIExxx41;;
   /**** have PHP Session installed, prefer NOT to use cookie **/
   //$config_session = xxx40;GM_USE_PHPSESSION | !GM_USE_COOKIExxx41;;
   /**** do not have PHP Session installed **/
   $config_session = xxx40;!GM_USE_PHPSESSION | GM_USE_COOKIExxx41;;

?>
Any ideas?

I hear Gmail starts charging for forwarding and POP3 access when it's no longer beta?
