I have read that the 9300 on the front page on CB and BGR is not the Gemini, we came to that conclusion. But it is actually the Onyx.

Between now and then I am sure we will find other devices/OS's to keep ourselves busy lol.

Not a big touch screen fan but if it has a full physical qwerty keyboard I might just look at it. I'd just be happy with a 3G 8900. (9630 I think it's support to be).

What's the real name and issue about this phone? Is it the Onyx or Gemini?

That's a model number they would never use, it would suggest to consumers that it was an old product rather than something new.

If you look at some of the guesses for the model number online there is actually some logic to them e.g. the 9300 because its a 3g curve, but the number could be even more of a surprise depending on who the lead carrier was going to be e.g. if it was one that hadn't taken the 8900 yet then that even frees up earlier model numbers in either the 8400s or 8500s.

Perhaps you could point me in the direction of the topic that cleared it up since I still see people wrongly using the model number 8325 in posts today on this board.

If that is the reason they have done it then you should feel proud since the blog sites being wrong is always amusing to see.
