I've been using my phone as a modem for 5 months now. I'm tmo and have unlimited web/email plan with text messaging. I started it using my curve 8320 and now I have the new curve 8900 and works fine. It is free with unlimited web data plan.

Anyone tried mobishark? It apparently make the provider think you are simply browsing on the BB and not tethering....

I don't think it's possible to tether on Verizon without the fee as it simply won't connect.

ATT only includes 5gb for the $60 plan. Not a lot when you start downloading.

I looked at the site, but I didn't see where it said that the carrier won't notice the using the teather...
