I have seen the same thing. there are two types of download one for the cureve 8300 and another one for the curve (TM) curve 8300.

I dont know i the anwser i just remeber seeing the same thing.

there actual is when you go into the download section there both listed there and 8300 (TM) has one download i thinks is chines and the other one is 8300 Curve (TM) smartphone and its download is east asia which is the newest download. I actual made this mistake and downloaded the wrong one and so i have to reload.
