Hi everyone, I am now officialy part of the bb society and loving it. I use to critize folks about been on them the whole but had to eat those words.
Any ways I have been looking for weeks for the live messenger app and nothing. I looked all over the bb site where u can download the my space app, facebook, yahoo messenger but the windows live messenger app doesn't appear. What striked me odd was that I was using a friends pearl and one her phone not only was the live messenger available to download but also several others. I tried looking other threada and Q&A but feeling dumb cause I can't find where to download or even if I can. Btw I have a 8310 Curve.

One last thing I download the myspace app but it doesn't appear on my menu why is that?

http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/dev....do?code=wlm20

needs to be visited on your device browser

check you applications... (options, advanced, applications) and make sure myspace is at least there. if it is not, then you never installed it. If it is, that measn you just need to to find the icon, its either hidden(need to show all) or its been downloaded into a folder on your desktop

The my space app is showen in the application folder but I will check out if its hidden in another folder. I'm guessing I will have to go directly to the link because I don't have that cross icon. Does my phone have something wrong?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data plan or a Media Net data plan?

I'm not on AT&T but I don't believe you can do OTA downloads from the Media Net browser. I believe you need the BlackBerry Browser, which is only available with the BlackBerry data plan.

Thank you very much guys and a little down that I won't be able to download BB apps but I prefer to save $20 dollars a month from the regular $50 dollar BB data plan they have in AT&T here in Puerto Rico. Anyways thanks people, be cool.

I don't know about ATT in Puerto Rico but here they let you switch plans at least once a month. Might be worth it to get the bb data plan for one month just to get the apps that you want. Then switch back after a month. Make sure that you back up your bb.
