Notes

I have a gift balance at amazon.com and I need the cash instead. I'll give you a $20 discount on any $150-$200 amazon.com item I can buy for you with my gift balance.

I'm new to the forum but PayPal will protect you since you can easily reverse the transaction and I am a verified, premier member.

If you live in one of the few states with extra duty to pay you'll have to pay it yourself or we can cancel the transaction if it's too high.

I welcome any other suggestions on how I can turn my gift balance into cash. I've tried eBay but it's proving difficult. I can't order an item for myself because the gift balance can only be used on amazon.com and I live in the UK; the international shipping is huge and then I'd have to resell it after that.

Thanks

Call me cynical, but how have you managed to get Verizon as your carrier in the UK?!

All is not lost! You can indeed spend your balance on yourself, with nothing lost to shipping! This is a BlackBerry forum dude... and not an appropriate place to peddle a gift card balance, especially when one is to trust you to order it and have it shipped to the appropriate address, etc. etc. etc.

The avatar answers that question: Verizon offers STRAWberrys in the UK.

yeah i would probably stay away from this. Uk w/ verizon and if you can't use amazon over there, why would you have a gift card in the first place?

this is really not the place for that.

You can use amazon over here but for some reason, gift balances on the .com and .co.uk domains are separate.

I acknowledge that this is the wrong place to post and was probably a bad idea since it looks like a scam. I'm just trying to find someone, anywhere, who would be interested. I think I'll give up for now.
