I am a 8320 users who might upgrade to the 8900. Are the 8900's side made out of rubber like the 8300 series?

Feels like a hard rubber but soft to the touch. Definitely not a hard plastic.

I have never had an 8320, so I cannot compare.

Feels like a hard rubber running along the sides and the bottom is the same. Like 341Eastof said "soft to the touch". But if you drop it, it will leave a mark like any other phone.
