Default How can I get vibe+ring as well as Mute the Camera shutter

Please Login to Remove!

...w/o paying for an application? I've seen BerryAnnoying and VibeandRing or whatever they are called but I don't feel like paying for something that should have just been an option on the phone as far as I'm concerned. Is there a way to get these simple options w/o paying for them?

Yeah, someone just told me about that and they also told me about Peek-a-boo for the silent shutter. Installing both now. Thanks for the reply.

I think they were actually thinking of disabling this feature on all phones to prevent perverts taking pictures without the subject knowing.

BBLight can also do vibe-and-ring at the same time, and is customizable for how long and how frequent the vibration is, if you care... BBLight also had a few other 'backlight" features.

I have tried Peek-a-boo, but not great success. First, it is not "silent", but like very low volume. Also, you have to take 4 photos at once and through the apps, meaning if you just bring up the camera and shoot, it will still have the shutter sound. Also, since it takes 4 photos in a row, there is no autofocus, so the picture comes out crappy. I also thought that the peek-a-boo site also mention it is not compatible with the auto-focus for certain BB model, and 8900 is one of those.

If you are on a call and take a picture, the shutter won't sound.

I've found an app called BerryAnnoying.xxx which you can use to silence the camera shutter sound, install it like you would any other bb app through the apploader and then change right side convenience key from camera to berryannoying and you're done.

Now when you hit your camera button and then take a snapshot there is no sound and it's fantastic
