I have about 15 BB devices that are going to be serviced via a upcoming BES server at our office. Do I need to notify the carriers of these units that we are going to use BES instead of BIS??? Or can I just pair them to the BES server after it is up and licensed?

Depends on the carrier I beleive. We use t-mobile, cingular and Verizon in the states and T-mobile actually makes you sign up and pay more touse your won BES.

Verizon and cingular dont seem to care.

T-mobile in the UK also charge extra for BES use - you need to have the minimum tariff including calls, and then pay an additional £35 per month.
