To fix the problem do a hard reset, which means turn the device on and once everything is loaded remove the battery, and put it back in, turn it on and it should work!

For a "1 time event" alarm, why not try to simply set an event in your calendar, and then have an alarm to go with it. Do you understand what I am saying?

I have the Storm since December and have used the alarm daily since then without issue.........until this morning when the alarm failed to go off. It did display the snooze option ok but there was no sound.

I upgraded to .113 over the weekend and this is the first time I have had the issue.

Normally my phone is charging at night and in silent mode!

Make sure you're set to network time not blackberry time. Make sure you're in the correct time zone. make sure your alarm has a sound assigned to it, and not vibrate. other than those obvious things...i would just do the daily battery pull. :<
