Default Questions about my curve

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys I have a few questions for the experts here
I own BB 8320 and recently installed OS .110
My questions:

1. When I lock the keypad I see the hour glass and takes a few secs to lock is this normal?

2. How can I remove the T mobile logo that appears when i start the phone? I am on a different carrier now

3. How can i change the homepage on my browser? I go to options/browser configurations but the homepage option looks permanent and i am not able to change

Thanks a lot in advance !!

1) Do you have programs running in the backgroud (Alt + Escape)? Pull the battery and see if it clears it up.

2) Not legally.

3) Are you on BES? Have you tried editing the homepage address?

2. You won't find out here -- against forum rules.
3. You might not be able to with certain carriers/OS versions, IIRC.

Are you sure you're setting the home page for the correct browser? There's field near the top to select the browser you're setting the options for.

1) Never an issue for me, maybe try a different version OS.

2) Yes, but it won't be found or discussed on this forum, and if you use the illegally distributed software, not knowing what you're doing, you could easily brick your phone.

3) delete what's showing there now and type in the homepage you wish to use.

Browser > Options > Browser Configuration.

Start page = Home Page
Home Page = ????

It's a bit hard to understand what you're saying but I'm assuming by home page you mean the screen you first see when you turn on the phone? It's part of the firm ware burned into the phone. Like the others said, you can look for other outside sources to help you get rid of it, but it could result in a bricked phone if you don't do it correctly.
