Wirelessly posted (3G= Chuck Norris Speed)

Is that the item where if you run out of power it plugs into device and gives it power from its own batteries?

From what I've read about this kind of app they put the phone into standby rather than just turning the screen off, thus saving battery power. You can of course achieve the same thing by holding the mute button.

That what i thought in the beginning.
Recently, I read a review from a guy claiming that his 9500 could barely last 14 hours after fully charged. After installing this small application, his storm is still 70-80 percent after a usual long working day.
I just want to see if any other ppl has similar experience.

It just sounds too good to be true.

If that's what the program does, I can vouch for AutoStandby. Great inexpensive program that puts the device into Standby and/or Lock within a period of time (of inactivity) that you set, and you can customize/select applications excempt from standby/lock.

Pressing the mute button does the same thing but it's not the same as having the device automatically take opportunities when it's not active to do so for you. AutoStandby definitely extends battery life.
