Default wrong date of birth in contacts

Please Login to Remove!

I have discovered a really strange phenomenon on my Bold. I sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with the device. And when I check the contacts on my Bold, everybody's birthday is one day earlier. But in Outlook, there still is the right date, and in the calendar the birthday also shows up at the right date...
Does anybody have an idea why the contact data on the Bold shows the wrong date?
btw: I'm not the only one in our company who has that problem...

My bold has the same problem...!

I tried wiping the device.... upgraded it to the newest OS... and the problem is still there...

When I open my contacts... the birthdates of my contacts are correct... but when i forward my contacts to others.... the date would be 1 day earlier.... for example if the birthdate of the contact is 2 of Jan, when the contact is forwarded to my other contacts..... the date became 1 of Jan!!

Does anybody else have this problem and know how to fix it?

I trust that this is a software issue and not a hardware issue?

i ve had it too. If i remember right, i deleted the wrong date "the series" because the birthdays are for every year, and then, erased the date of birth in the contacts, and added it again. tough :/

Did that solve the problem? I tried deleting it and reentering it... and it looks fine...

The problem is when i forward that contact to others... that's when the date moved back a day....

Default Error in Birth of Date

Hi,

What do you mean with "the series" -- does that mean I have to delete all contacts that have birthdays and re-create them again..? Or better yet I just delete all contacts and re-create all of them.

Please clarify. This thing really driving me crazy
Thanks for your previous respond though, at least I know that I'm not the only one having this problem.

Greatly appreciated!

Deleting the "series" in the calendar of each b'day. Then deleting the DATE of the contact, save and the create the date again. It should work.

Hi,

Ok I have deleted the dates on my calendar. I'm not sure how to delete the date on the contact. It wont let me, if I choose Delete, it will delete the entire contact. I'm going to just try that and we'll see if it works.

Thanks again.

go to your contact. click edit, go down to birthday and where it says date, click and chose none.
then save.
then go back into that contact, and re-add the date.
