Default Delete multiple emails

How do you delete multiple emails with one touch? I used to be able to highlight several emails on my old Blackberry and hit delete. I tried to highlight several at a time on the Storm but can only delete one email at a time.

You can highlight the date and press the menu key then select delete prior.

You can also highlight the first one (continue to hover on it) and then touch the last one you want deleted.... this will also remove the email from your inbox if you have it synched with an email client. The delete prior trick only removes the email from the BlackBerry view but does not delete it from the client.

Good tip... I knew about the Delete Prior command but didn't know about this. Thanks!

Thanks for that. I used to only use one finger, wonder if there are other multiple finger functions I'm missing.

Here is an interesting tidbit... Touch the first email you want to delete. Next, while keeping your finger on the email, use your other finger to select another email further down. All the emails between those two emails should become highlighted. You can release your fingers off the screen at this point. If you have more emails further down, you can scroll down and select the email and it will continue to highlight all emails between your selection and the previous emails. Note: make sure you don't click the screen, but just tap the screen to highlight the email message.

Also one thing I just figured out... If you press and hold the name or subject of the email, a progress bar will go and then pull out all the emails corresponding to that. Then you can delete away there, as well...
