Default Bold Alarm: What do you use?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm aware of the default calendar option, where you can create recurring alarms. It's kinda boring though. :/
Then there's BBSmart Alarms Pro which was just fixed for compatibility with the Bold. I hear great things.
I used to use MyAlarm, but the developer stopped updating it long ago. :(

I'm sticking with the default app for now till I decided on something worth installing.
So, what do you use?

I personally love BBSmart Alarms Pro. The default worked fine for me while BBSmart was being updated to OS 4.6 but BBSmart by a mile IMO!

While I was waiting for fix for Bold version of BBSmart Alarms Pro, I also made do with the default alarm. I changed the alarm based on when I needed to wake up and When I needed extra alarms during the day, I used the "new alarm" feature in calendar... but that was just a way to survive w/o BBSmart's application. Definitely a good investment!!

I use a combination of the following on my device:

- Native BB Alarm app
- Mobylo! MultiAlarm
- Adorno! MultiAlarm
- BBSmart AlarmsPro

I use Mobylo for my daily wakeup alarms. Why? Because it handles holidays, the others do not.

I use Adorno for various alarms, such as my daily reboot reminder and basically any other alarm that does not repeat but that I do not also want as a calendar appointment.

I use BBSmart's alarms for any one-off Quick alarms, such as for a quick snooze or a timer to wake up at a certain time.

The Mobylo has a 5 alarm limitation, and Adorno and BBSmart's do not; however as mentioned above, Mobylo handles Holidays and I value that. I could get by on just Adorno or BBSmart but one feature that many like in the BBSmart Alarms is that there is a "bell" indicator when an alarm is active -- personally I don't like that feature and like to keep my header area clear (this is a matter of taste only).

Mainly, it was that I bought the apps already. BBSmart AlarmsPro, had it been working on the Bold from the start, would have been enough that I wouldn't have gotten the others.
