It was a beta that was leaked weeks ago that only worked with 4.6+

Never had a problem with 1.5. Integrated into my address book and calendar with no problems. Occasionally the number of comments is off from what is really there, but other than that, no problems here.

The facebook 1.5 that has leaked will only function on devices running 4.6 OS.

My copy of 1.5 just stopped working last night for no reason, it doesn't connect to the Facebook servers. Seemed fine up until 24 hours ago now I'm downgrading to 1.2 in the hope it might work again :(

Yep, up and running with 1.2 no problem, although I'll miss the ability to sync my contacts with Facebook/BlackBerry/Outlook

I take it 1.5 was not an official release?

After it "syncs" your contacts, there is no way to sync back with outlook or any other destination using device manager. It basically messes up the structure of the address book so that DM can't read it. Other than that its a great upgrade. If you must use it before official release just make sure to backup your address book so that you can restore it at a later date.

So far facebook in general does not work with the Bold 5.0 OS, or the 8900 5.0 OS. Hopefully a future build will play nice with facebook.
