Hi there. So I've been in Paris for 2 months now, and my phone has not worked (in terms of service), but has turned on alright for the first 2 weeks even after the battery draining. Well, it's been completely drained and off for 6 weeks now and after charging for 6 hours via USB on computer: so i'm getting consistent voltage and also through a step-down transformer, it will not turn on. Just solid RED LED light when charging. It is only 4 months old and don't understand what's going on!? Anyone with similar experience?

Nothing works- battery pull, reset, power button hold, etc

Any assistance is greatly appreciated..

that happened to my wife's blackberry. have your tried pulling the battery and replacing it after 30 seconds; that worked for me? the other thought is to power it on without the battery (obviously plugged in) then replacing the battery after a full power on.
