I was at the gym yesterday reading an ebook and my screen keeps going black after 2 minutes (the max setting for screen backlight on my Pearl).

Is there an aftermarket app to keep the screen backlight from going off, if the app you're using doesn't do that for you?

Is there an "always on" backlight option that I could invoke when doing things like reading ebooks?

Look for BBlight, it has that setting.

Thanks...found it moments after I posted my question.

I get weird results with it...the screen blanks briefly and then comes back (which maybe is the only way it can work) but the weird part is that it blanks more frequently than the 2 minute max time-out that I have set the BB to.
