Smile Yes, You Can Go From Paralles to VMfusion!

Someone in another forum told me that VMfusion could use my copy of the virtual machine I made with Parallels so I downloaded it and tried it out. It worked well.

I immediately downloaded DM and did a back up on my Blackberry Storm. All went smoothly. No more using the lousy PC only for doing upgrades and back ups.

Thought I'd pass it along.

And why didn't you do the same thing in Parallels; Doesn't DM work on Parallels?

There are a lot of posts here, mine included, about problems using DM under Parallels. It is very unreliable and the connection with the BB gets lost frequently. I recommend VMware for that reason.

I wouldn't use it unless you intend to brick your phone.

Running VMware now for a couple of days, dumped Parallels completely.
